What does this term stand for? My guess was "Lame English Electronic Text". I suppose it's good that people are communicating, but I still think it's stupid.

It really makes one sound stupid, does it? Perhaps it has something to do with the things said in "Teenage boys (or girls) -have brains or not?"

Yea, truly. 'Elite', heh. There aren't many equally commonish things if someone wants my opinion.

Personally, I was never interested much in the whole leet/1337/etc. way of speaking. There is an interesting paper of it on kuro5hin though for those that are interested. Keep in mind there is some minimal swearing, etc.

I hate it. I accidently found a website made by some quite obvious geeks, who had written a comic strip with 133t in the speech bubbles. They also kept saying that they were 133t, so i would definitely assume it means Elite.

I actually made myself read the whole comic to prove that some annoying numbnuts couldn't beat me by using stupid typing.

Here's a tip, if you have to read 133t, squint your eyes slightly, then it makes it much easier to decypher.
