[IMG] I just want to say that this is one of the best staffed boards I've been on.

I just got off another board, lurking, and got sick of watching the mini-poly-ticks going on in that virtual world.

Lame I know, but still. We've all seen the pathetic attempts at "moderation" by 13 year olds staying up late with a flashlight and pretending to NOT spend half their lives playing role playing games to bolster their flagging self esteem.

Figured it was time to do a stupid little post about how grateful I personally am not to have to dodge the adolescent wannabe's that get their kicks by banning people that don't them the "proper" respect in reference to their endless hours pretending to be older here in order to mac on female posters.

or, all summed up with a THANKS!

but of course, I'm an idiot.

Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I'm not, this post might belong in Sorcerous Sundries.

But yep, you're right. This might strike a nerve with Tal and I hope he doesn't get mad, but I used to be an infrequent participant at the Ironworks forums. That site just plain blows! A whole bunch of over-done graphics that are meant as eye candy, but just give me a headache. And so many of the topics, posts, replies, etc. are just so inane.

In contrast, I enjoy myself here at SP.

LOL, just as me and Tal were having a discussion of the evils of Ironworks as well...
    Anyhow, nice random rant.

Of all the forums I have ever been to, none can compare to SP.

The Boards o' Magick are very good message boards. Very un-anarchic, unlike various other boards.

What point praising SP boards on SP boards? Just look around ;)

Honestly, I have very and I mean very unpleasant board experience from before I registered here. Actually I was very pesimistic about this one too, sort of afraid of getting involved. Now you see me in the chatroom when you go to bed and you see me when you wake up. You also see me when you go to work, school or wherever you go and you see me when you come back ;) I suppose I will be awarded some special resident status if things don't change :D

@Masterpoet: True thanks are never lame :)
