    This kickstarter seem to be the messiah of good OldSchool Games:

    Jordan Weisman, the creator of Shadowrun, is back and Shadowrun Returns (for Apple & Android tablets and PCs) is the game that Shadowrun fans have been waiting for a long time. A graphically rich 2D :D turn-based single player game with deep story interaction, meaningful character development, and highly-contextual tactical combat, Shadowrun Returns is not only going to make some old geeks (like us) very happy but it will introduce new players to a dynamic gaming universe that is beloved around the world.:D

    I personally will donate a decent amount, seeing how this P&P was a big part of my childhood.
    After the 2007 Shadowrun catastrophe this is probably the only real chance for a real ShadowRun in decades! And on top of that, it's made by folks that were doing ShadowRun for more than 30 years!

    Update #1 - You did it! Holy Cats!

    Wow, that was incredible.

    From the bottom of our hearts, we'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has backed us so far. If we weren't working our butts off on our new game, we'd be dancing around the Closet (our tiny office) with tears of joy streaming down our faces. Instead, the team is heads-down at their computers, sniffling loudly and wiping their eyes with their shirt-sleeves.

    To everyone asking about a Mac version of the game, we've been saying that if we hit the $425,000 level, we'd add it. Linux support is definitely on the table too! (After all, who'd be a better Decker?)

    It's really no wonder everyone and their grandmother are pimping up their projects on Kickstarter... it's simply amazing how many people are happy to support them on KS even in the midst of the greatest recession. But I guess the much more reasonable prices set for digital game downloads are a big attraction.
