    He's in that basement in a cell *that other thief guild that Renal Bloodscalp wants you to investigate... He asks to be freed, but freeing him doesn't seem to do anything or what?

    I don't believe so. The only way freeing Kamuzu will have any significance is if you take the thief stronghold from Renal.

    If you free him, he will help you later in a thief stronghold quest. No more spoilers I will give, but you will be thankful that you have saved him.

    That is, he died last time when I was fighting Improved Maevar, Jan's fireball accidentally toasted him rather...blackly. :angel:

    (lol) Nah he doesn't really do much to help you're cause but I think you get some XP in the end so it might be worth it I guess. Btw damn you Silver, you're evil! :D

    :p It waas not my fault, I was lost in the heat of that hard battle, (Improved Maevar and his goons totally kick a**) and could not care about the area of effect of one loose fireball.

    In the end, I had no desire to reload to save Kamuzu, as the battle was a hard-earned victory with no casualties, luckily.
