[IMG] My problem is that after installation, my text/words in the game look weird and un-readable. So un-readable that I CAN'T EVEN PLAY!!! AHHH

Please help, here are some screen shots.

Also, I am running Windows Vista 32bit (sucks I know)

I prefer to play games without any meta gaming, or googling for help in puzzles, or anything that would ruin immersion.

I've NEVER played IWD. But have played BG1 and BG2.

Is this a clean install or have you played around with modding? It's possible that your dialog.tlk file is corrupted. I'm not sure what else it can be, as I still play IWD on my XP machine.

Since you're using 32-bit Vista, I'd also recommend upgrading to Windows XP. I still haven't seen much benefit for a home user with Vista 32-bit unless their manufacturer failed to make XP drivers available.
In fact, I recommend XP in general over 32-bit versions of Windows because it uses less memory and resources.

It's a clean install, from GoG.com. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it 3 or for times, deleted it, re-downloaded it twice, with no change.

Downloaded Icewind Dale from a torrent site, and it works perfectly... Yeah.

But hey, at least I have the receipt for owning the game legitimately!

    So, problem resolved!

Perhaps you should contact GoG then and complain.
