    [​IMG] Lately we've been discovering a number of older, more or less inactive accounts, which appear to have been compromised by spammers. The posts made by the original users were left intact, but the spammers manually added various spam signatures to individual posts.

    I believe that these accounts have been compromised due to weak passwords, or due to people using the same logins on other sites, which have been compromised in the past.

    For your own security, I recommend that your BoM password is unique and impossible to guess. If you know that it currently is not, or you are unsure if it is, please go to the Edit Email & Password section of your User CP and enter a valid e-mail (where you can always automatically retrieve your login to) and a new password.

    Better safe than sorry!

    I take weird parts of my novel working titles and add numbers. Each one is different, but easy to remember.
