Is there a way to make it with it being able to talk?

    I saw a D&D comic book a LOOOOOONG time ago that had a stone golem in the group. Some how someone has their soul in it and it could talk?? Is there a way to make a golem with the ability to talk? Or a Homunculus with the ability to talk? I always thought it wasn't possible because they had nothing to talk with??
    I'm trying to figure out how to have something made that a good aligned wizard could posses so he can live longer without having to become a lich??

    Sounds like you are looking for the Warforged : https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Warforged_(5e_Race)
    They are basically sentient constructs, looking similar to golems though perhaps a bit more intricate.
    You can easily homebrew an adaptation where a wizard can build his own construct and through some magic transplant his consciousness to this new body.

    Assuming you are rolling 5th edition you could use the reincarnate spell as a template for the spell needed to have a mage inhabit a golem body :

    Just replace the part where the new race/gender is randomized to having it so it will turn the caster into a warforged - increasing the spell cost by the need of having a suitable golem body prepared beforehand.

    Warforged came from Eberron, so they're a valid 3.X race. However, warforged, psiforged, cyborn, androids, etc. are constructs, so if you're a humanoid, they're not a valid reincarnation body.

    There are loopholes around that, but I don't consider finding loopholes in RAW any better than homebrewing.

    That said, there are options. Plenty of precedent of binding souls into constructs, usually via some sort of medium, like a soul gem. A combination of something like trap the soul and wish would be easy enough. Or maybe a somewhat gimmicky application of magic jar or mind switch if the construct is made into a valid receptacle.

    Putting all that aside though, there are far easier ways to becoming immortal or prolonging your life. And there are canonical good-aligned liches too, so that's one of them.
