Is there a mod so a helmet appears when worn?

Like in NWN 1? I kind of like the different graphics and looks my characters take on when donning various helms.

I looked around online, but my search revealed nothing.

Use a tool called the GFFeditor, find the NeverDrawHelmet variable in the player.bic amd playerlist.ifo files and change the value to a 1.
You should be able to find the tool on the NWNvault, i'm not sure if it ever got aded to the sorcerer's place resources.
Note that above method should only affect your own character, i'm pretty sure each companion has its own file associated with it where you will have to edit this variable as well.

That said, i would advice against this, since helmets in nwn2 can be pretty ugly and have some serious clipping issues.

It's a bad idea in NWN2 for the joinable companions. I know, because I've tried. For the companions, they didn't seperate the hair and other stuff apart from the heads like they did for player characters. For example, Elanee's hair will burst backwards past the back of her helm. Neeshka's horns will jut out, etc. You can get away with it when it comes to Khelgar and Ammon Jerro, but it's hard for me to think of anyone beyond that.

Okay, thanks for the info. Guess I'll skip this mod for now then.
