Is Anomen always such a "bleep"?

    I tried using him once a long time ago but he lasted about 2 hours before I got tired of his arrogance. Now I'm trying my best to use him again since I'm playing a female character just to see what he has to say and all that.
    It's getting harder and harder to use him though. Does he ever stop being so "above" everyone else? He should marry Nalia's aunt. Lol.

    He actually has potential for improvement after his test, depending on how you look at things.

    If he passes his test, he (in my view) dials it down a notch or two, and actually becomes a fairly decent / empathetic guy.

    If he fails, he becomes more of a bad boy, less talk more action and just get it done sort.

    What test? I just had him kill the guy that killed his sister but my reputation went down because of it. That's not the test is it? To see if he will kill him or not?

    Ok I reloaded and took the "path of justice" I guess you could call it. His alignment stays the same regardless of which path I take him on?



    Which path should I take? Does either of them effect game play like the "test" you mentioned?

    The test isn't finished until he's called back to the Order for an evaluation so to speak. That's when there will be an alignment change.

    There isn't really a "right" choice here. It's your own preference, depending on what kind of game you want to play. Be forewarned though, he'll take his frustrations out on Keldorn should he fail his test.

    I picked up Keldorn a bit ago now but they seem to be getting along fine. Or does that not change until/if Anoman fails his test?

    Update = Now Anoman is telling me I should have slaughtered a thief I let go.
    SLAUGHTERED from a cleric of the Order? Lol.

    There's no problem with Keldorn if Anomen passes his test by choosing not to avenge his sister.

    Pass test (you didn't) -- Anomen becomes a member of the order and shifts to LG.

    Fail test (that would be the revenge path you took) -- Anomen is kicked out of the order and shifts to CN. Therein lies future issues with Keldorn....

    The good path makes Anomen a bit more powerful, but not much.
