    [​IMG] Ok, as you might have guessed this is a post about inventors from Scotland.
    Basically, each person is to nip off, do a search and post a Scottish inventor and their Invention. To get rid of the obvious one and add one of my own:

    Alexander Graham Bell, the telephone (no he's not a yank :mad:

    John McAdam: Tarmac (how many people knew that? :) )

    (edit: I was sure his first name was Thomas, changed it after remembering it wasn't :p )
