Installation Problem

    I have encountered a seriously frustrating problem when trying to get the game up and running. About 3/4 of the way through the installation I get this error message:

    Component Transfer Error



    Component: English
    File Group: English
    File: D:bad:data3.cab
    Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

    When I click ok (the only option) or the x to close the message the install just shuts down. Has anyone encountered this before or have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    CRC errors usually mean the the reported files are corrupt or unreadable... this could be due to a dirty/scratched CD (which you can attempt to clean), though if that doesn't work, you'll most likely need to get a new copy of the CD.
