    A bit more than others? Such vulnerabilities are discovered and fixed every once in a while. Why are you asking, don't want to install it for some reason?

    First thought on seeing the title: some modders are actually updating the Infinity Engine? Odd.

    Anyway, this update for internet explorer should be considered just as important as all the other updates for Windows or your browser of choice. As the source of the article mentions, it could allow remote execution of code, so it's really best to get yourself patched up. Note that many of the critical patches for Windows could allow remote execution, so it's not that unique for this one update.

    Does it matter? Why would you not want to apply the patch?

    I would imagine it's not a big deal in the near future, and problably not ever a problem if you only visit web pages you know are reputable, but the longer the exploit remains, the more likely it will be exploited by some nefarious character.
