I can't remember whether it's at the start or right at the end of the game... but Irenicus is talking about Ellesime and the love they shared. He says something about clinging to a memory, then a memory of a memory... or something. Anyway, I need someone to quote me this exactly, word for word. Maybe even a screenshot. Thanks. :)

    IIRC...

"I... cannot remember your love Ellesime. I have tried. I have tried to recreate it, to spark it anew in my memory but it is gone, a hollow, dead thing!"

"For years I clung to the memory of it. Then the memory OF the memory, then there was nothing. Nothing but hatred for what you did to me! what the Seldarine (sp?) did to me!"

"Once my first for power was everything. But now i hunger only for revenge. And I WILL HAVE IT!!!"

This is purely from 'memory' hehe. So maybe someone else can either confirm it is right or wrong and maybe give you the answer exactly

Actually, Morsmodre, you're dead on. That is the Irenicus at the Tree of Life dialogue, word for word.

Except you may want to change 'first for power' to 'thirst for power' unless BG2 also made the same typo... which is possible. ;)
