[IMG] I was thinking of producing some BG2 kits to post on SP. Any ideas? :rolling::spin::roll:

Do you mean kits that you what to design yourself, or get ideas for other people to make kits out of? There might be some ideas for kits if you look in old posts.

I posted this somewhere else - but I really want to see it made, and since I have the programing skills of a housecat, the only way is for somebody else to do it.

    Ninja Assasin (Theif Kit)
    Advantages
    - Backstabs like an assasin
    - +1 to Dex
    - Can become master in allowed weapons.
    - +15% to Hide in Shadows and Move Silently

    Disadvantages
    - Must be Human (So we have no 20 dex characters running around)
    - Can only use Simitars/Wazishiti/Ninja-To, as well as Daggers and Crossbows.
    - Can't Pickpocket, set snares, detect illusion.
    - Must wear only leather.
    - Crappy Lore (if possible)
    - Must be Lawfull Evil

Ninja assassin?! I'd rather say it should be like a monk, without MR and unarmed attack but skillpoints as a bounty hunter, +15 on move silent/ hide in shadows, weapon specialisation in daggers ... should be powerful enough.

Anyway, how about an arcane rogue? No backstabbing like a swashbuckler but spells 4 levels behind a bard, thieving abilities like a bounty hunter. That would be a quite useful addition to a party.

The problem with having a ninja assasin a monk kit is that you could not backstab. (an important factor).

You could always give yourself the Monk Avatar though.

Every kit that have Hide in Shadows ability - can backstab.
So modified assassin kit would be able to do that.

The only thing you must take care of is backstab modifier increase through linked CLABxxxx.2DA file.

Monk can't have kits. Your best shot is to modify fighter kits to have a monk kit.

As for arcane rogue IIRC it's not possible to activate the spellbook. I advise usage of innate abilities instead.

Some new interesting Fighter Kits would be nice, as a change from the too-often-used Kensai.

Some new Clerics would also be useful. How about these:

    Priest of Meikilli
This woodland priest worships nature in all her forms. Her devotion allows her special abilities.
    Advantages
    - May cast Animal Summoning as an Innate Ability. Summoning I at 1st level, Summoning II at 4th, Summoning III at 7th, Summoning IV at 10th and Summoning V at 15th. (make new Spells?)
    - May cast Nature's Defense once per day for every 5 levels. (as Shield of the Archons or Storm Shield))

    Disadvantages
    - None
    (must be Neutral, like Bard)
    ----------------------

    Priest of Cyric
This priest has mastered the Chaos that is Cyric. His devotion to the Dark One has given him extraordinary abilities.

    Advantages
    - Can cast one Contingency per day, and one Chain Contingency after level 15.
    - Can cast Chaotic Blessing once per day for every 5 levels.
Chaotic Blessing acts as both Chaos and Chaotic Commands, depending on whom it is cast at. It dispels charm and confusion amongst party-members, but gives Confusion and Chaos to enemies.

    Disadvantages
    - None (must be some Chaotic)

    --------------------

There could of course be many many more like these, depending on the demand for different priests. How about a Priest of Bhaal?

Some minor ideas include Pickpocket (thief), Pirate (bard- a la Saemon Havarian) and how about a Blackguard (evil Paladin - probably Fighter) from the 3rd Edition D&D?

Thats only a few of my ideas. Could i ask what program you use.. i prefer the Kit Editor from TeamBG. Let's have some more ideas people, lets get some kits in!!

    Brute
This warrior relies on his pure strength and bodyweight to pummel his enemies, he is not a skilled warrior and has very little patience for intricate weapons like katana blades and crossbows. he also has a very low intelligence and because of his huge muscles, his dexterity suffers too.
The sight of this freakish giant will put weaker enemies in to a state of shock and total terror.

    Advantages:
    + 1 bonus to Constitution
    + 2 bonus to Strength
Gains + 1 to damage every 3 levels.
    Permenantly wears cloak of fear.
Gains 'enrage' ability once every 5 levels.
5% chance to stun enemy each hit
Gets a +1 to AC for every 5 levels due to huge frame

    Disadvantages
    - 1 to Dexterity
    - 2 to Intelligence
    - 2 to Charisma
Cannot dual weild or use Katanas, scimitars, daggers, crossbows, bows.
Each time he is hit below 25% hit points level, there is a 50% chance of the Brute going berserk.
Can only be Half-orc or Dwarf
    Cannot multi class.
Has a -4thaco/damage against wizards and theives.

I would certainly like to play it.....

    -Extremist
What about the swashbuckler, he can't backstab...?
    Anyways...
    Sword-Singer (Elves and Half-elves only)
Basically a fighter/mage, but with extra abilities, like the ability to wear armour AND cast spells, extra skills in hand-to-hand combat (ie THACO bonuses, special attacks like offensive/defensive spin), etc

    Can't backstab? Really?

Start a new multiplayer game. Take two NPCs:
    - swashbuckler
    - barbarian
Hide the swashbuckler in shadows and hit barbarian. What does the message in dialog window say?

    Game description says:
    Disadvantages:
    - No backstab multiplier

Multiplier is one thing, ability is another.
That's why I've posted up there that multiplier increase must be manipulated from within CLAB file.

    Only be Dwarves
    -2 to Int

    Must be lawful neutral

    Supreme Archer (Fighter kit)
    Advantages:
    +1 hit/damage every 3 levels with bows
5% chance to stun with arrows
    increased chance of critical attack
can become grand master in bows
    +2 to dex
    Disadvantages:

I like the Ninja Assassin (sort of kensia/monk/assasin - and very high level obviously :)) but he/she should have darts instead of crossbow i reckon (and be able to store them in the quiver slots ;))

Hmm... I'm not well versed in anything beyond the basic (or less) knowledge of 3:rd edition rules so I wouldn't know if there already something like it. But I'd really like a magical paladin.
Strong in faith, equally good in combat as normal paladin. Some spells like magic missile, mirror images, and stoneskin.
Downside would be very low-level turn undead / lay on hands (if at all). Wear only chain mail armor etc. I'd like to play such a character.

  15. Legionary/paladin/cavalier of Tyr:

    Advantages::angel:
-Can cast up to level 5-6 cleric spells
    -Can become grand master
    -+5to hit at leve15 and +5thaco.
-Can cast up to level 3 mage spells
    -has five weapon slots

    Disadvantages::evil:
    -Must be lawful good human.
-Must have 14 rep or receves penalties to attack, thaco,ac and misses.
    -cannot goin with neutral people.
    people.
-Cannot equip any jewerly exept for glory armours.(i made it)

I was just looking for something like this...

I need the equivalent of a Half-Elf Thief/Druid and it needs to be TOB compatible.

    Let me know.

Change a Cleric kit to cast druid spells. Call it a 'Druid'. Dual to a cleric, and viola! a Thief/Druid.

[IMG] I really like the sound of Zakar's nightblade kit. I had a similiar idea when i heard about the 3e multiclassing in IWD 2 and decided to make (when it's released) a thief/sorcerer who took lots of invisiblity spells and others that help you to travel undetected.
