I can't seem to get high level abilities

    This is the first time I have played the enhanced condition. I like to play a fighter to level 14, then dual class to thief. It is a pretty awesome combo. I get the HP up to 14th level as a fighter and the massive attacks. I then dual class to a thief, and can actually wield the holy avenger, wear specialized followers gear such as the cloak of the High Forest, and can even get a familiar.

    Right now I am having a problem. I am 14th level fighter and 21st level thief, but I am not getting any of the High Level Abilities... Was something changed for the dual class characters?

    I also love being able to use the clerics high level holy symbols as well.

    You get HLAs once your active class (or the class that currently gains XP) beats the SoA level cap (around 2.9M XP, IIRC). Thieves and bards need to be level 24 to start getting HLAs.
    Multi classed characters have multiple active classes so maybe that's where the confusion is coming from. Dual classed characters only have 1 active class at a time.

    Fighter/thieves are indeed pretty powerful, heh.

    How does a F/T get access to cleric holy symbols though? i assume you need to have viconia/anomen/aerie in your party and get them to 25 so you can loot theirs ??
