I Can't Find The Mage's Robes of Neutral Archmagi

    I own the BG2 guide, but it just says to buys it at a merchant in Trademeet. Well, I've checked every merchant 3 times, and this is my 4th time through as a Wizard. Any help would be appreciated.

    I don't know where you get your info, but it's not very reliable.
    Here's where you'll find it.
    As you can see, the only way to get it is to buy it form the dude in ToB...or you can use the console, since the items code is listed. :rolling:

    Thank you guys so much. I have the Prima's Official Strategy Guide, and that was my source. Anyhow, I'm currently looking for ToB, so I'll get the Robes later.


    Also, I had a weird encounter with Nishruu that Tolgerias summoned up. It destroyed my robes and my bracers, and killed my Familiar (who had been in my inventory at the time). Unfortunately, it appeared that I still had my robes, and I didn't check my inventory. So, oblivious, I saved the game, and saved over all my back-ups. Only then did I see my mistake. So, now I'm robeless, and I'm familiarless.

    No. The dragon has RoP+2 and you can keep the Blackrazor. These are the only items you cant obtain in Hell

    IMHO guide can only ruin the game. And if you don't know what to do you can always ask here for advice. :)

    Well, I'll just have my guy naked until I find some robes, then.

    And, yeah, the Prima guide is missing half of the quests. In the back of it though, they mention something about a Red Dragon Figurine. Has anyone found that?

    Red dragon Figurine? WTF? I've never heard of anything like that in the game. Now red dragons and their scales...that I have heard of, and I think I still have those scales in my Bag of Holding in my current game.

    As for the Robe of Vecna, it's personally my favorite robe to have, and if you don't have the bonus merchants, which aren't in the origanal SoA game, you can find the downloadable version of the mod here on SP. :rolling:

    I've heard of some sort of cheat (maybe a spell) that would summon a red dragon to fight for you, but I never used it, and now I can't find it anymore. :nolike:

    Well, it was the last entry in the guide, and spoke of the Dragon's amazing 'Stink' power.

    @Kitrax: Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm playing for my first time through ToB, and I'd prefer it unmodded. However, my bard is going to do every mod after. Followed by my Druid, and then Ranger.
