To free Jarial from the rock you have to tap a ring against the rock that's holding him.
As for the golem you have to rearrange the two dead elves bodies that you find in the Deep Halls.

I'm still kinda of lost on how you tap a ring against the rock. Do I move up next to him and drop from my inventory?
Is it something where I right click/inventory/armor/ring?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi,

The way is manage to break the rock is my mage, using the jewweled knife, hit the rock. Notice, when you move your cursor around the rock, an icon appear to show that your can hit the rock. I think that its because my mage(with the knife) was wearing a ring. So when he hit the rock, the ring touch it and break it.

That is almost exactly how I did it. Just not a mage.

[IMG] Any character wearing a ring can do this. Position your cursor on the bottom part of the rock behind Jariel. You will see the action button. Smash the rock and he's free.
