HoW or ToTL?

    I am not too familiar with this game yet, so does Heart of Winter come first or Trials of the Luremaster?

    I resumed playing my unfinished game so that when I beat in a million years, the price of Icewind Dale II will decrease to so minute an amount, it will be unrecognizable. (I’d find it where you can find Baldur’s Gate I now)

    [​IMG] However, you must not finish HoW before you play ToTL... The whole ToTL adventure starts at the Whistling Gallows inn in HoW, so you must be able to access that point in order to play it.

    Yeah.

    What Tal said.

    I know you can start an "expansion only game". Can you still access Heart of Winter after you wipe out the main IwD game? Does it just deposit you in Kuldahar after the end movie, or is the whole game dun?

    I've never done this. I've always gone through the expansion first.

    It is possible to play HoW after you've completed original IWD (I did so).

    [​IMG] I'm sorry to revive this old topic, but I need help with regards to this subject!!! :o

    I just completed IWD (I know, I'm late in playing my games!!). I thought I could access HoW after the last battle, however the credits screen came up and I ended up at the loading/saving game screen. Harkle said it is still possible to access HoW - can anyone please tell me how?

    Can't you export your chars and import them into an expansion only game? The credits come up and stuff, so that would be my guess.

    I've been having gaming comp problems, so I've been in Malavon's bedchambers for what has seemed like eternity.

    Thast is correct Rednik. It isn't possible to automatically "jump" to HOW. You will have to start an expansion only game and import your final save characters.

    I have always done HOW after completeing Dragons eye. I dislike having to start an expansion only game, and it feels more streamlined doing it this way.
