    WTF does it mean to be "indie" anyway? Liking some crappy garage band one month and then hating them for making it big and signing on with a major record label?

    From my experience, people claiming to be indie are usually kids idiotically dressed with stupid looking hair-doos. "Yeah dude! I love 'Spitball' and 'E.M.O." their killer!"

    Bah, in that case, I approve of my test result. :rolling:

    A lot of the music I listen to is independent bands (well at least they started that way) form the late 80's, early 90's which no-one else will have heard of.

    Fatima Mansions, Family Cat, Mega City 4, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Senseless things, Levellers, EMF, Power of Dreams, to name but a few.

    indie (short for independant) -- small bands, independant labels, usually not on any chart. Music indies live for the obscure bands -- kind of like the movie indies who go to the theaters in the museums and think they're more intellectual than fans of blockbuster movies.

    Not at all. Good. I'd rather listen to Brooks and Dunn or Pink Floyd anyway.
