    I found it by searching for an IWD2 walkthrough and then kind of got addicted!

    Looking for IE game info on Google. Most of the good links led to SP. So I guess that makes SP the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Oh christ, I just used a rainbow reference, I need to take a shower....

    Much as everyone else here, I was looking for a reference for one of the Black Isle games (for IWD II as well, I believe, Silvery!) and found SP maaany years ago. The community seemed nice and there were a ton of resources for all my favorite games, so I was hooked! I didn't register on the forum until much later. And I'm still more of a reader than a writer. :D

    I'll join the "looking for BG2 info" crowd - an internet search brought me here. That was before the Boards changed to the new software, and you could search the SP forums without being registered and logged in (I'm not sure why that changed). I registered a few months after my first visit.

    Like TGS, after so many years, I'm not exactly certain at this point (I voted Other). I lurked for probably close to a year before creating my account. A friend might have turned me onto the site, but then again, who knows. I don't usually post a lot, but I never go too long without checking in.

    That's me as well! I imagine I was looking for BG stuff, but I think it was the Alley that hooked me first, then the PbP games and #sorcerers really got me addicted.

    Somehow I ended up seeing the Roleplay Corner on the old boards. I had no idea what that was, so I poked around. It looked intimidating, but the stories were fascinating so I spent an hour or so browsing the Corner. (I had no idea what RP meant at the time. That people could write stories with other people was a whole new notion for me.)

    Then I forgot all about it for a time.

    When I finally did find SP again (a few weeks later), I went *whoa* and joined. :p

    Found it by searching for BG2 related stuff, and just visited for a year or two or a while just for the game related content, then I got intrigued by the Alleys...so I signed up and yeah...thats it... :D

    Found it then I was searaching for any kind of help with BG2 SoA. A friend lend me the game, I installed it and couldn't find the manual (had no idea it was digital). Somehow got through Irenicus lair without even know that you could use the spacebar:rolleyes:. That how fresh I was to the game and I found it a bit hard to control my crew in battle.

    So searched for some tips and hints to make battles easier and ended up here. I haven't left :D

    [​IMG] I bought my best friend at the time Baldurs' Gate after enjoying it myself and he cheated to complete it. When I asked why/how he showed me this website and I looked around for a couple of days and joined the forums on the third.
