Holy Avenger in NWN

    First of all I'm a die-hard Paladin and always have and will play as one first in all AD&D games. This includes NWN. This post is not about complaining about the implementation of Paladins in NWN, but many know that the Paladin has lost quite a few traits and abilities and not received anything to make up for these, (namely loss of detect evil, Holy weapon, watering down of cleric spells, and Warhorse & related abilities [for obvious reasons though]). Nothing can be done about this now (in single player campaign anyway), so I'm wondering if anyone will be making a Holy Weapon in some Hak-Pack or something that is not only for a single module, but can be 'placed' in any campaign/module (incl. single pl camp.). Is there anyone out there who is currently making, or thinking of making a Holy weapon i.e. Great Sword like in BG2? I call on all Paladins and friends alike for the implementation of a NWN Holy Weapon! Please post your replies,agreements/disagreements (please be sensible) on this much needed weapon of righteousness!

    I don't see the use of "a weapon thast can be placed in any module". In Multiplayer, the DM can put items in the game, also a Holy Avenger. In new modules that are made, the person who made the module can have a Holy Avenegr put in the game. However in both situations, it depends not on you but on the DM/Module-writer. I'm sure there will be written many modules with a holy avenger so just play those modules then :)

    [​IMG] just make your own in the tool set :p
    that is what i did for my paladin
    there is a holy avenger mod (to start you off :)
    then add some things too it
    like only usuable by LG
    only usuable by paladin
    cast detect evil
    aura of protection from evil
    etc..
    just remember that the more mods you give it the higher level required to wield it :cool:

    Does anyone actually know what that holy avenger mod to the weapon does? What qualities it gives the weapon and such?

    I think it's just an effect, to make it look holy.
