    ... or would be americans :) The following test contains actual questions asked of immigrants applying for naturalization in the US:
    Could you pass the US citizenship test?

    I am curious how many americans could actually pass this test :) I got 85% (wohoo! I am in :) ) but I am somewhat of a news addict. (Also, I cheated a bit and made use of the fact that some questions contain hints to the right answer to other questions).

    Not cheating, but "guessing intelligently". I got 55% just by doing that and doing a bit of real guessing. Not bad for a non-American.

    I'm also interested in how the locals will fare.

    100% - guessed on the INS form but made an educated guess based on the wording of the question. As a practicing attorney, I'd be pretty embarassed to have missed any of the Constitutional questions.
