I just recently started playing NWN again, got the expansion packs and all. Any way, I'm playing through SoU, and I recently decided I really don't like how my character looks. Are there any ways to change my character's appearance, either via console or editor? I tried Leto, but it just let me change my portrait.

I'm afraid the only thing to do is to get to the next chapter, create a new characetr, use Leto to give him my first char's stats and stuff, and then import him. Isn't there any alternative?

I find that character appearance is irrelevant in NWN because any armour or helmets you wear completely block out your character's features anyway.

There is no easy way to change your character's portrait or soundset in the game to my knowledge. Talk about an oversight...

The portrait and soundset were easy; like I said, Leto took care of those. It's more skin color, head, that sort of thing.

And using helmets to obscure his face won't really work since I really don't like the way they look.

Well, outside of using Leto, I mean. Leto hasn't always been around.

Helmets no longer prevent you from being hit critically, so you may as well walk around bare-headed until you find something with sufficient benefits to convince you.
