[IMG] I had the same prob. (Scar was gone). What i did was to reload and do the quests before even speaking with Scar. Then you go to the Flaming Fists, speak with him...get money and XP....speak with him again....get money and XP...and so on.

[IMG] YEAH! Damn that Scar. Instead of waiting for him to take me to Eltan, I went straight to Eltan, When I returned AFTER Whacking the OgreMage and SevenSuns He was GONE! I got cheated out of like 12-15k XP! plus a coupple of thousandbux with reputation points... He's lucky that doppleganger wasted him when it did... heh. I actually preferred this game to BG2.

[IMG] So do you think that Lothandar is missing from his spot at the blade and star because of my inability to find and complete my quest for scar? I have moved back to an erlier save to try this again but i will have to give up if that won't work!

[IMG] I hope you haven't given up yet Tao...

I just ran into this same problem, Lothander was nowhere to be found and I was getting very frustrated. Finally I returned to the diviner's tent and there he was. I had to talk to him once more, just so he could tell me he'd be at the Blade and Stars. Then he walked away even though I had his Geas in hand! The next time I went to the Blade and Stars he was there. Hope this helps!
