[IMG] Ok. Does anyone know when Aerie gets round to having her ickle baby? Cos she told me she was pregnent on ... about day 14, and its now day 60 and i've all but finished TOB and have been kicking around expecting her to give birth or something.

Please tell me she does and i havent just slept the past four days away for nothing? This feeble end cant be the end of the whole baby thingy??

    Ok thanks heh :)

I think that the birth scene is on a real-time counter (like every other lovetalk timer in the game), so it might go on if you leave the game on pause for about an hour.

The timer is real time. And it's a damned long time to wait too...

There is a code you could use if you have the console enabled - but bear in mind that advancing the time will affect all real time aspects of the game.

    CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(###)

where ### is the number of seconds. I usually use 3000 if I need to speed something up. Hope this helps or is useful somehow.

How does the story progress after she has given birth?

[IMG] iirc, it's the last dialogue. You just have a baby in your inventory.

Yeah, the ToB romances aren't all that great. I think the number if lovetalks in ToB should have been quadrupled for each of the romancable NPCs…and the Real Time clock should only be applied to the very last lovetalk, which should be one hell of a long lovetalk!!! :rolling:

[IMG] iirc in ToB there are 6 dialogues for each NPC. Less than a quarter of the number of SoA dialogues. Though I gues ToB is about the quarter of the size ot SoA. Still should have more though! :p

[IMG] I believe it's something ridiculous like 30 hours or such. I will have to check to make sure though, last time I checked was months ago.

She's an elf, so even if she gets stretch marks, they will be sexy stretch marks! :rolling:

As an aside, does it actually matter whether the main character sleeps with Aerie at the end of SoA or not, so long as I manage to retain her in the group and apparently continue the romance? Does it effect ToB in any way?

[IMG] If you sleep with Aerie and keep her there will be an extra dialogue at the beginning of ToB which will decide whether the romance will continue or not.

From a biological point of view, there seems to be a strong correlation between lifespan and gestation period. Whale pregnancies are longer than humans whereas rats get it over with very quickly. Given the long lifespan of an elf, one might expect a decade or so of gametime. If your character is human he'll be past it by the time the child arrives. You had better like the first as a second would be out of the question.

Just out of interest, what is the elven lifespan in TOB?
