Finished the game today. Not bad. Suldanessellar spiced it up again but I feel they put in too much work for Athkatla and all the side quests and not enough juice for the real adventure.

Aerie died in the final battle. Ah well, no mages in my party now for ToB.

As for weapons, *shrugs* Flail of Ages all the way through since I found it, never tried or used anything else. Two more heads availabe in ToB, nice gamble in placing many profs into flails.

    Syl...

Truly a dilemma. either stall the game by hacking through all the sidequests or finish the mainquest in a few scenarious. I still think the Hunt through the underdark seemed a bit "of season"

I didn't really feel I was hunting Irenicus and Bodhi. I felt more like gaining Xp. No timepreasure what so ever.

Ok. Ok the maincharacter gets a bit unbalanced if One stalls the hunt for Irenicus after the Underdarksetting. But Nothing critical or lethal. I don't get the sense that I am in a hurry to get my soul back.

    [IMG] Congrats to Grub! :D

The Flail of Ages, eh? It always was a great weapon being more versatile than any other I can think of.

Isn't it strange, that in all of the major rpg's from BI, ie BG1, BG2 and PS:T, there is this break from the main area? In BG1 you go to Candlekeep, in BG2 it's the assylum and the underdark while in PS:T, you go to the badlands and all that.

Coincidence, or is this a pattern BI has decided to use in all it's games.

And yes, I know Bioware is NOT BI, but their rpg's are still published inder BI and Interplay.

George Lucas said that a good movie needs 3 environments. Hey look at the succes with SW-movies. So they followed his wise words :D

does the flail of the ages in ToB (with two extra heads) become a +5 weapon?
beacuse now it is a +3 weapon and since you don't need all the heads to make the flail I presume that with two pieces it is a +2 weapon (never treid this though)

AFAIK it gets to be a +5 weapön. With two heads it acts as a +2 weapon. That is my experience anyway

    EDITED HERE

As Far As I Know= AFAIK

+5 weaon? And to think that i sold my last flail of ages since noone was proficient in it... Well I guess that I have to play through the game again, this time with an evil char. Any suggestions with what should I go? I don't want anything too powerful (kensai/mage or monk) and I don't wanna solo. I'm taking suggestions.
