    UEFA statement

It seems that Greek gorverment had passed some laws and FIFA was not happy with it. i was trying to find the specifics of the laws, but couldn't. HFF seems to be on FIFA's side.

They simply wanted the Greek government to stop interfering in football issues, and they kinda ignored that. So now they pay the price.

I don't know the specific of the law (which has not passed yet, it will be discussed in the parliament today) but as Pac Man wrote it has to do with the goverment intevene to the Greek Football Association. It's a power struggle between the minister of sports and the head of the Association (who is a member of the opposition party), which has been taking place for two years. The minister has tried many times to overthrow the head of the association through the legimate (for FIFA) ways but he has failed, so he has decided to write a law fitted to his need and obviously he has managed to create a mess. What is going to happened next? Nothing. The minister will put his tail between his legs (I imagine the phone calls by the owners of the clubs, which are playing in champions league and in uefa cup, asking for his head on a stake :D ) he withdraw the law and everybody except him will be satisfied.
