    This is new.

I've played IwD2 on my laptop and several desktops, and never seen this before.

I'm getting green and black tearing around the characters. And there's a noticable "box" of texturing around them. The box looks like the "zoom lens" on Mechwarrior; you can see the textures moving through the box as they walk around, almost closeup. It's almost like a magnifying lens around just the party characters, individually.

And at the very edge of the selected characters viewing range, there is a green circle. Where the fog of war would give way, the normaly black or shaded grey area is green.

IwD1 (with HoW) looks just fine (Kressalack's tomb for about 30 seconds). And no other game I have loaded now (Unreal Tournament, Medal of Honor) have any kind of graphical problems, even remotely.

My graphics card isn't "overclocked" as far as I've had it stable, and it's fairly cold in my room right now.

I've tried different combos of the software BLT's, and they either cause new problems while fixing old ones, or they just add another problem onto the stack.

I've not tried loaded BG2 to see if it looks ok.

I've rebooted and the whole works, with XP. I'm using a Ti4200, Asus A7N8X (Nforce2), and 32 bit color across desktop and games.

Anyone seen this or know about it?

I seem to recall 2 other posters having similar problems here.

I don't know what to think, here.

About the only real thing I've done is install service pack 1 for XP. Sure, I've upped the mainboard drivers and the detonators. But I've no problems at all with any other game, and right this second, I've got quite a few loaded.

Haven't really played much of them, but by God, if I get the chance I'm in there.
