I tried everything. Adding "Cheats=1" and "Debug Mode=1" to [Program Options] and [Game Options] inside the ini file, but it still doesnt work. I have 4 CD (boxset) version of the game, maybe console doesnt work in this edition of the game? Help please

PS I was using ctrl+tab to open the console. maybe its different in 4cd version ?

    [IMG] What operating system?

Is there a tab that says compatability files at the top of the directory? If so you must edit the ini there.

Not sure if you got it to work or not. I was having the same problems. All I wanted was to be able to review the whole map. I've been through this game so many times many years ago. I don't remember the maps exactly, but I also didn't want to spend all my time going everywhere.
I'm on Windows 7. But I know to get games like Icewind Dale to work, you have to set it up to run the program as an administrator.
Right click on the icon you click on to start the game. Whether on your desktop, start menu, etc, and click on properties. Under the compatability tab, you see a box at the bottom to click on and run as an administrator. I did that and I can no pull up the cheat console.

[IMG] If you installed the game in the default program files folder then you will have to look under compatability files for the correct file to edit. Same as I said above, Vista and 7 separate files for older games for a variety of (unusual) reasons.

Nope compatability folder for me. I bought the game from a website were you can purchase and download older PC games. They say the games have been fixed (or something) to run on newer operating systems.
