    This movie was released ages ago, and i watched it for the first time orughly 7 months ago. I recently bought it on DVD and i can't stop watching it, the movie is brilliant and it has an even better sound track to accompany it. Zach Braff (JD from scrubs) wrote, directed and stars in the movie, and he managed to choose the right songs to fit every moment of this movie, i especially love the songs by Zero 7 and Frou Frou (sang Holding out for a Hero from the Shrek 2 soundstrack). This is the perfect movie if you just want to chill out and relax, it has a very well portrayed story line, and mixes humour with relaxation perfectly.

    [IMG] I rented this movie (on DVD) and I was expecting something funny, but it just blew me away. A lot of stuff that I normally cringe from discussion of (because I try to be as upbeat as possible) just seemed so...accessible when watching this movie.

    @Dalveen:
    Since you've got the DVD, check out the deleted scenes if you haven't already. One of the scenes they cut out (for what reason I can't possibly fathom) adds so much more depth to the character of the father that you'll want to watch it again from the new perpective.

    Saw the film recently. Love it.
    The song by Zero7 is "In the waiting line" from their first album "Simple Things".

    I loved the comments about being a family and actually LIVE your life.

    IIRC, there was also a song by Thievery Corporation. Another band I fancy much.

    Well it has that funny guy from the TV show 'Scrubs'...and it has Portman...but it doesn't look too apealing to me.

    But then again...chick-flicks have never apealed to me... :rolling:

    I resent that comment Kitrax, this is no Chick-flick! Personally i prefer the song by Frou Frou at the very end of the film.

    I can't remember that track, actually. I'll buy the DVD and listen to the Frou Frou one. :)
    I have heard the name gefore, but I never heared the music. Most likely I'll listen to their album soon and buy it. What kind of music is it? Like Zero7 and Thievery Corporation or is it something completely different?
