Everyone is going on about smart phones here, but I'm suffering from financial difficulties and can't afford one. I've got the free phone my carrier gave me and pay $20/month as my only phone. I don't have a data plan, but I do have a Micro USB cable to connect the phone to a computer where it acts like a flash drive.

Does anyone know where I can find some additional games that work with this phone? It has a menu called "games & apps" that has a demo game and a couple of dumb ones called "copter" and "chicken".

Also, it has some kind of web browser, but I can't find any way to read .htm or .txt files on it. Any ideas where I can find an app to let me download text files or html files to read offline?

I tried sites, but I don't know what's real and what's a scam and I don't want to download a java virius. The one site I found I couldn't figure out how to get the apps to work.

Finding a tetris game would be nice, and the text file reader. I did spend $5 at best buy to get a 4gb microSD card for it to store my music collection to listen to at work so I have plenty of memory.

Sorry, I can't help you with that phone. I don't even know what operating system it carries. It's one of the old flip-style phones isn't it?

Yes, it's a flip-phone. Surprisingly, it has a radio and an MP3 player, although the latter is only useful if you install a SD Card. I got a 4gb one for $5 when it was on sale at Best Buy.

The phone has a browser, but without a data plan it is useless. I can't use a hotspot. Hence why I'd like to use the USB cable.

It sucks being poor and not being able to afford nice toys like a smart phone or to upgrade your computer every couple of years. It was a major hardship when I had to upgrade my computer because my XP machine broke on New Years for 2009 (technically it was 2008), and I haven't upgraded since.
