According to PC Gameplay magazine in the UK, Black and White took Game of the year. Throne of Bhaal got heaps of praise though, and was best RPG of the year, with IWD: HoW getting a mention too. I think SoA was mentioned about 10 times in the magazine with lots of good things said.
Now I'm eager to see what happens when Neverwinter Nights comes out...

[IMG] I don't trust the magazine that proclaims the copycat as the game of the year.
I guess Anachronoc and Arcanum were not even mentioned there.

Finally, ToB can be to my knowledge the best add-on, but to say it is the game of the year... lame.

It is a game where you can create evil and good mosters, but that's nothing to do with this BG2 forum....
