Gaining Proficiencies at What Levels?

    Sorry I just noticed I used the wrong word. It should be proficiencies not professions.

    At what level would a Fighter/Thief gain proficiencies?
    Are there charts telling what level each class gains in?

    Every third fighter level. Thief levels won't count - it takes the best advancement schedule by class, but short-changes you by not even paying attention to advancement in other classes.

    Does "Fighter" also mean Barbarians, Rangers, Paladins & Monks? Or is it just Fighters?

    But I'm not sure if Monks are considered Warrior type. In Icewind Dale 2, they get the priest tables, but that's 3E.
    The link's info seems to be incomplete, by the way. They omitted special weapons like Katana and Bastard Sword. They probably just copied it from the BG1 or IWD1 info.
