Friend with bug

    apparently when he playes the game the cursor flickers and all of the text stuffs up. for some reason he came to me for help and i know jack shit about how to fix this sort of stuff. oh yeah he also sayed that it randomly chose his charactor and stats and proficiancys. in other words he is in deep shit and needs your help:hahaerr:

    Some friends of me also got some bugs :)

    Strange problem, seems to be something in the graphics. Maybe changing the resolution works.... When he starts the game, he should have no other Windows-screens opened, I encountered that this can give such problems.

    [​IMG] I once had a problem simlar to zaks. I't turned out that my keyboard was a little naff and one of the keys was a bit lose. It was the f12 key (it would happen to any of the f keys) I just swoped it with the scroll lock key.

    Anyway I dought that sloved it so try. The following.
    • Make sure you have the latest patch
    • Make sure nothing else is running
    • Make sure you have the latest drivers for you graphics card

    Hmm, indeed some weird stuff...
    1. the mouse flickering: this could be a graphics problem, try turning openGL off if it isnt already. I doubt it will work though considering the other probs.
    2. The tooltips: In the options menu you can turn them off permanently, try that and see if it helps anything

    Perhaps you need turn off 3D Acceleration in BGConfig.

    not my problem its my stupid and rather fat friends. anyway now he reckons that he fiddled around with some of the options and now eureaka it works. oh how hard was that:rolleyes:
