[IMG] Ok heres the deal. My PC had some problems on account of which I had Format the C: of my old harddisk. But all my Games were on the D:
However when I try to play BG II: SoA (which has a hell load of mods) I cant since the registry has no idea what this is. Is there anything I can do to play this installation of BG without having to reinstall the whole thing. I'd prefer not to go for re-install as I am pretty sure that the old CDs will no longer work well ... and I dont have any more backups.
Please tell me there's a auto registry updater in the folder somewhere that I can just click on and then start playing.

    Ok.

    Feel better now? :p

But seriously, I'm pretty sure you're SOL vis-a-vis an auto registry updater. It seems to me there might be a way to manually fix your registry, but there are other people more (much more) qualified than I am in that regard.

Ok I found a Backup folder in there, I was able to play from the BGMain file there. However it seems that this file simply has the patched information.
So now I can add all the new versions of all the mods :D
Any new good mods out there? Or any mod that you wanna get reviewed for SoA only game (no greater difficulty stuff like Tactics please)?
But if there is a way to update the registry please let me know.
