Forgotten Realms books n00b, need a rec.

    Howdy.

    I've only read one R.A. Salvatore FG book, and I can't recall the name. It was a Drizzt & co book, the one where Wulfgar kills a white dragon, retrieves his fangs (or horns?) and presents them as a right to challenge the leader of his clan, and ends the fight crushing the dude's skull. Snazz.

    I never did finish the rest of that book, let alone the series. I'm finding myself reading more than I used to and would like to pick up that series where I left off. Can anyone tell me which book that is? Also, what series it's from?

    In addition, I'll also be picking up one of the many "sets" of books starring Drizzt & co, and am not sure which one to start off with. Thinking about the one with "Sea of Swords" in it. Any suggestions?

    I think that was in The Crystal Shard which would be the first book in the series.

    Thanks for the link, Tal. For some reason I never knew (or knew and just forgot) that you had amazon links for novels as well as games and guides. I just bought both the Icewind Dale trilogy and Dark Elf trilogy (the all-in-one book versions). Thanks!

    Oh and yes, you were right JSBB - it was the Crystal Shard. Once I saw the cover I knew it was it. Thanks.
