All right, federal election cant be too far away now (I think that the earliest that it can be held is August), so who are you voting for and why? I am still not sure and this is the first year that I actually have to vote. Currently I am leading towards Kevin Rudd, though I am still not sure. I know one thing for sure though, Howard is out :p

If I was old enough to, I'd go for Kevin Rudd. Howard's new "Industral Relation" laws were the final nail in the coffin for him. I will give him this, the man hung in there for a looong time.

Meh, I don't really follow politics, but I am SO sick of Howard! The last thing I remember following was about the Free Trade Agreement between Australia and America. Personally I thought that agreement was VERY unfair for the Aussies. -_- I got so pissed off I didn't bother reading up on it anymore so I still don't know if we went ahead with it or not. :hahaerr:

Yeah this will be my first federal election too. ^^ I better start paying more attention to politics now.

Assuming I get to vote (which is pretty likely if the earliest it can be held is August)...

Hmm, I'm not sure, mostly because it seems like a pointless exercise. If I throw in something that's not a dud vote than it'll probably be for the Greens, as they're the only party that seems adequately worried about how we're ****ing up the world and they need all the help they can get.

But overall - hopefully Rudd will win, as Howard is a complete wanker. I may not agree with Rudd in a lot of things, but at least his main concern seems to be people rather than the economy, which is *all* Howard cares about.
