I saw the movie recently, and it was great! Being a FF7 fan it was amazing to finally see the characters you've grown to know and love come alive. The story picks up 2 years after the FF7 story ends. Nicely made, although personally I think a little bit more interaction between Cloud and the gang was lacking.

Posting this just for the information of other people who played FF7 and really got into the game. You'll like this movie. (by Square-Enix, iirc)

I found it kinda boring but the animation simply put: breathtaking. Now if only we could get that kind of animation for a full length D&D Movie.

*mild spoilers but nothing that will spoil the film in any way*

It was amazing, but your right, I wanted more interaction. It could have had some really funny dialogue. i liked it when Yuffie shouted 'Discrimnation, Discrimination!!' for some reason. Bu the fight scenes were great, best i've ever seen. I liked the fact it allowed for continuity for either path you took in the game - niether Tifa of Aeries was porttrayed as a romantic interest or just a simple friend either. Difficult to explain, but there you go :)

Overall, I loved it, though it could have been longer with more character involvement. I'm going to watch it again now :D
