there are some posts about favorite classes and multiclassing, but i have a question about favorite class and pure characters.

are there any penaltys (or whatever favorite class does) if i for example create a single class gnome fighter (favorite class is illusionist), or a dwarf mage (fav. class is fighter)? i like to try the assimar sorcerer, but it keeps telling me that i wanna be a paladin.

and why has my female dwarf a beard? :)

As far as I know there are no penalties for fulltimers no matter what they fav. class is.

    And for the beard...
In all fantasy stories and worlds, dwarfs are always same. The only thing that changes from time to time is whether females have beards as well (or if they shave).
If you don't like her woman charms, change her appearance with dalekeeper.

BTW, I think the paperdoll for F dwarf don't have beard.

    [IMG] Ok,

Favourite Class; all it let's you do is multiclass without penalty. Say you are an Aasimar Fighter, then you multiclass to a Druid. You will get a penalty to XP, and other things.

If you are a fighter, and multiclass with a Paladin, there are no penalties.

This is only if you multiclass though.

If you read the books of Forgotten Realms, which is linked to the game IWD2, BG2, etc, all the female dwarfs in the stories are supposes have beards.

For some odd reason they think that the beards are attractive. To answer the question it only has to do with multi classing

I've also heard in Many different story types that the True Dwarven Women look Nothing like the men.

They are said to be the most beautiful of the mortal races, and that's why you never see them. And that's why the Dwarves are such Warmongers. Because they are protecting their most valuable 'treasure'

    Just a thought.

    As far as Multi-

Go for that Aasimar Sorc. They are pretty good..

Somehow I find it difficult to belive that dwarf women would be the most beautiful. But on the other hand I can't imagine them with a beard either, so...

[IMG] Assumption: Every dwarf has a beard.

Maybe dwarven wives have beards also.

Another question is: Do "little" or newborn dwarfs have beards too?

    Some more:
What looks the prettiest beard like?
How would a women with prettiest beard look like?

Remember? Gimli wanted a hair from Galadriel. Maybe dwarven wives have beards but no hears. ;)

Just kidding ? (Or not ...)

    ---

There are many Slavic tales about women stolen by dwarfs ... they stole them to marry them. I must think about this.
