    Even though the questions are higly misleading considering all of the comments have been gathered from here and there with possibly not much connection to the real "Fallout 3" in early development, you should check this link out if for no other purpose than to see what the people involved in Fallouts 1 & 2 think of doing in the so-far unofficial sequel.

    Also, since this Fallout 3 (going by the name of Project Van Buren) is seemingly going to use the graphics engine of the Project: Jefferson, the links below will connect you to the Jefferson FAQ and the "avatars" (+ 1 screenshot), as referred to in the Fallout 3 FAQ.

    If nothing else, this stuff is interesting to read. At least when it comes to Jefferson, there's something good to look out for after Lionheart and Greyhawk. Fallout 3 would be the best of all of course, but as long as there's nothing official out, I wouldn't get my hopes up on that one.

    My bet after lurking the blackisle feedback boards for months now that it is most certain that fallout 3 is in (pre)production.

    One blackisle employee has even confirmed it in a very vivid way ;)

    This was his answer on "what if Van Buren isn't fallout III?"

    "What, like posting concept art, rules systems, races, and the like isn't? No big mystary here. If O.J. Simpson had as much circumstantial evidence about his case as this project has had posted on this board and fan sites, then he'd be picking up his soap with his toes right now... maybe that's a bad example, but you get the point."

    Seems pretty clear to me. What happens to jefferson I don't know, what I do know is that I really really hope Fallout III will be 'officially' announced.

    Look at the avatars that For linked to. Remember a certain Fiddlebender? I think we will have some cool links to the IWDII here.

    @Apeman

    I'd hope so. I really would. Fallout 2 kept me entertained for hours a day for years. If F3 is anything like it... My studies and work are gonna suffer big time! :D

    @Velve Zauviir

    Could be, never played IWD2. But the screenshot looks non-IWD2:ish.

    I'm really looking forward to the addition of climbing and flying in this new engine. The death + combat animations seem pretty interesting as well.

    Good thing they don't seem to lower their aim for "teen" rating either, as Fallout is harly a teen -fitting product, at least officially.

    Installed F2 yesterday and yes - it is as much fun still :D

    Although, my hopes are not up for a F3, but I got hope allright... even if it´s just a glimpse by now.

    Good old Oswald Fiddlebender. He is in IWD1 to for your information :) He even has his Air Ship in #1.
