I'm thinking of soloing as a CE character, just for the fun of it. My question is, is it possible to complete the game if I just kill all the unimportant NPC's in the game, like villagers, Khalid/jaheria, people like that.

Just wondered if anyone has ever tried it? :D

can't say I've ever tried that, but if you're going to do it my recommendation for a character would be a fighter with strength, dexterity and constitution as high as you can get them. Maybe pump up the charisma and just be dumber than dirt. Because once you get people like the flaming fist after you you'll be in big trouble if you aren't ready.

I have to agree with Niskers...killing all commoners you encounter will only bring you grief, especially in the early stages of the game, when a company of Flaming Fist will kill you faster than you can say...well, something not very long.

Killing all the joinable NPC's won't be anything more than an inconvenience for you though, so you can go right ahead and do that without any worries (especially if you're really intent on soloing).

That character could work, although I'm not sure that fighter is the best class option - mages are good for mass-destruction, and thieves are backstabbers. Maybe dual- or multi-class character could be better, because you will need to protect your character from many things.

I'd level up first, get good stuff and then start killing.

Remember that if you get in trouble you can always donate money and boost your reputation :p
