[IMG] Which NPC mods can you recommend for an evil party?
I'm particularly looking for an NPC with find traps and open locks skills, i.e. a thief of some sort.

The evil NPC mods I've seen are Valen (vampire) and Silver Star (elf). Both are insane. Well, Valen might not actually be insane but being a vampire her bloodlust makes her act sort of insane.
Is there no sane evil NPC thief around?

    - Valen
The problem with Valen is that many think she is overpowered, especially at higher levels. I have no idea if that is true or not.

    - Silver Star
I intalled Silver Star yesterday and she looks like an interesting character, but I have two problems with the mod.

    - Her conversation/banter in Irenicus' Dungeon appear amateurish and sloppily written.
    - From reading the SS forum it seems that she dies in Spellhold. She possibly returns in the Tree of Life as a Banshee and that's all good and well, but I want a thief in my party all the way.

Try Tsujatha ( http://www.gilalion.com/tsujatha ). I only tried this one recently, but I like him already. However, he's a mage, so Edwin becomes redundant, unless you want an overly magical party.

Kiara ( http://nocturnalsupremacy.net/AMDIndex.htm ) is an evil monk with many banters with pretty much everyone. However, she has to be taken with her Chaotic Good Wild Mage friend. It also has very adult content.

    @ Earl

I just started using Valen. One thing you can do to reduce how overpowered she is: UNEQUIUP HER CLAWS. Her claws are what give her level drain ability. If you get rid of them, in one fell swoop, you kind of bring her in to the realm of a playable charcter. She still has the whole bloodlust, kill everything mentality, but at least she isn't level draining all your enemies to death in the matter of 2 rounds. Her claws are considered daggers, so any dagger will work as an alternative weapon, and there's tons of them lying around.
