    Hi

My and some friends are considering playing an epic adventure and i've been thinking about a druid, one of the problems i've encountered is i cant think of a way to deal epic damage while in wild shape mode, amulet of mighty fists only go up to +5 or could i "manufacture" an amulet with +11 enhancement using the tables in DMG and adding the appropriate market value for an epic item? would that bypass epic damage reduction?

Well, you could consider using new Wild Shapes. An epic druid should be able to shift into, say, magical beasts, dragons or extra planers. You could simply replace any non-epic shapes with those from the various Monster Manuals. I believe that several creatures exist that should have the ability to overcome such damage reductions.

Or you could "manufacture" items that are "blessed." Items that are forged by the gods, or by the spirits of the world itself to aid a chosen warrior in their cause.

Epic rules are weird. I personally like low level campaigns because the rules below level 20 are not broken. Beyond 21, the rules don't seem to work all that well. Good luck in your epic adventures!

k thanks man, we're playing an eberron low-level campaign now but thought it would be fun to try epic after, would probably only be a single adventure for 2-4 sessions

Epic rules do have rules for going beyond the +5 threshold, but it's way more expensive...

Yes there are. Try to get your hands on the Epic Level Handbook. Read up on the Epic druid for more spells, abilities, and shapes.
