He is the merchant in a large rectangular tent in the eastern parts of the carnival.

He also sells some other type of food (don´t remember which)
Does this merchandise have any significance?

    I am using
    - NPC Project
    - Unfinished Business
    - Jastey´s Mini-quests and Encounters

One of the mods adds a gnome named David(?) Jansen whom you can meet in the area north of Nashkel. He is "accompanied" by two "lady" ogres, seemingly against his will. The way the encounter developed for me, I ended up fighting and killing the lady ogres. Mr Jansen fled and has not been seen since. Hmm, the name Jansen and turnips makes me think there may be a connection between the merchant and this encounter. Does anyone know of this, and of other possible outcomes of the Jansen encounter?

BG1 NPC; Xan in the party, quest resolvable with or without the grain and turnips, but funny if you resolve it with them.
