Sorry to start a whole new topic about this, but I cant seem to get into chat at the minute.

I recently trudged all the way through BG1 & TOTSC with a view to building a splendidly overpowered, yet legit, Berserker 9/Druid X. Imagine my dismay when I got to 'Renny's dungeon, impatiently tried dual-classing my character out of curiosity and discovered that I was able to dual to thief and cleric, but not druid. This is certainly not a statistics problem as Claude the fighter weighs in at:

    St: 19
    De: 19
    Co: 19
    In: 4
    Wi: 21
    Ch: 16

More than adequate. I also tried both SKing his int to 10 and creating an entirely new character with more worldly (yet still sufficient) stats, and the same problem arose. This, then, is clearly a bug, as I have read about people using this DC combination before and as such know it to be valid. I know I could probably just SK myself the character I want, but I like to feel that I have earned things, and it would spoil the initial idea of taking the character all the way through the series. Plus, Ive found in the past that SK can balls up your romances.

My guess is the blame lies with mods, but I'd rather ask you folks first before I embark upon a hefty reinstall job. At present I have installed:

    TOB official patch
    Cloak of mirroring fix
    Bonus Merchants
    Ascension
    Redemption
    Kelsey
    Cal-culator

Is this likely to be the problem? Im not sure, but I may also have the Baldurdash fixpack installed (so long since I set this up). Also, I have recently installed SP2 as a requirement for connecting to our university network. This is unlikely to be the source of my DC woes, but it does seem to have made everything kind of jerky and the sound fuzzy. Is there a fix available for this?

    Thanks a lot, in advance.

You dont have enough stats. Its got nothing to do with mods.
Druids are the only goddamned class which have two main stats (well along with specialist mages).

Your Beserker/Druid would need minimum stats of 15-3-3-3-17-17.
Just SK 1 point from Int to Char. And you got your uber-charecter.

Ahhhhh right. Thanks ever so much, thats a tremendous help. I didnt realise charisma was actually a prime requisite, so I thought it only had to be 15. Off to SK I go, then.

EDIT: Thats great, works fine now. Any ideas on the (I assume) SP2 induced fuzziness issue?
