[IMG] So, has anyone seen it? I've watched it a couple of days back and after the initial bad impression it's made on me (many aspects of the animation are simply bad; lips aren't synched properly, the 3D draconians stick out like sore thumbs, movement transitions are jerky and often haphazard, jiggly and/or oversized breasts, etc.), the overall impression wasn't entirely awful. I'd give it a weak 3/5.

The voice acting is decent, but really nothing beyond that. Spending a bunch of cash on famous voice actors while using substandard India-outsourced animation was obviously a big mistake. Good no-name voice actors could have pulled it off just as well and animation even slightly better would have made it much more watchable.

There are almost literally no DVD extras; certainly nothing worth looking at, just a few crappy sketches and line animations. Why they didn't even include an interview with Weis & Hickman is beyond me. No voice actor interviews, nothing. Total bust in this department. I guess they ran out of money long before they got to the extras.

Oh, and just when you think that it's not really possible to get ahold of a DVD with at least a scene by scene breakdown, this DVD proves you wrong.

All in all, it's not as bad as I thought it'd be given everything I've known and seen about it prior to the release, but it's still a big disappointment. They've waited over 20 years to deliver something which would have been passable 20 years ago, but not today.

I saw it a little while ago, it was ok but nothing special. It kind of reminded me of the saturday morning cartoons I used to watch, but other than the slight nostalgic glow it doesn't have much going for it, unfortunately.

I managed to sit through roughly an hour of it. It was unintentionally hilarious (although, to be honest, part of that is the source material. Hourglass eyes were cool when I was younger, but now? Hell. No. Also, loud arguments in the lair of a sleeping dragon?!?!. Also, you could practically see the DM, that's how obvious it is that it's based on an actual D&D session).
