I have now finished it and I must say that it is by far the best RPG in the BG spirit since well, since BG2. Not perfect but well worth the cost of purchase and I liked it a lot better than the Dragon Age games. Basically everyone on this site should go play it if you yearn for isometric role playing.

As I mentioned before the difficulty that starts out harsh gets easier, maybe too easy. I didn't have to reload a single time in the last battle and wasn't even close to failing which was a bit of a let down. It was an epic battle that took its time but I was never close to dying. Veterans might want to crank up the difficulty.

If you enjoy really tricky puzzles it will be right up your alley. I spent some time googling playing through the game, never had the patience for puzzles.

I hadn't really heard of the Divinity games till the D:OS Kickstarter came along, and I was swept up by what I saw and what Larian seemed to be trying to do. I skipped the beta but have been playing the release version for 50 hours now and I've thoroughly enjoyed it (even if my comp can barely play it).

There are some little wrinkles here and there (inventory for a start) but they don't detract too much from the game for me. It's easily a 8.5 or 9 out of 10.
