    I'm not sure about that - if they weren't, they wouldn't be as ready to get themselves killed for more of it ;) . Maybe they just like their privacy more, or this guy is just a natural comedian. "The trial resumes in the morning" makes me think the jury was too cracked up by his antics to continue.
