    It wasn't as epic and SURPRISING as the first one if you know what I mean.

    Well, personally I didn't like the way it ended. I found it hard to believe the two most dreaded creatures would let the only opposition they have found in their war run around in their own fortress.

    I mean really, they might think they're omnipotent, but an enemy in your fortress is always a bad idea. Especially if they're setting all your 'workers' free :)

    Yeah. The story just isn't in the same calibur as IwD1. I think what they needed to do was actually sit down for an entire month, working 8 hours a day, and type out a 150 page novel. And use that for their entire template.

    It really does seem like they did that on Icewind Dale1. And Baldur's Gate 1. I think BG2 was more of a short story, but it was still a good 50 pages long, or so.
