Did anyone else try using Drizzt's Party as yours?

I was just wondering, I had alot of fun going through BG with my PC being accompanied by Wulfgar, Bruenor, Drizzt, and Cattie-Brie. Of course the game wasn't balanced but there were many points when it was challenging to keep everyone alive.

Also, I don't know if there are other ways, but the way I did it was by using the cheat keys to add the characters to your party when you meet them.

    Nope.

Why not play in multiplayer and recreate those characters?

Well for one thing you don't have their items. I wouldn't be against creating a character from scratch but I'm not sure if the Drizzt sprite works with normal weapons equipped. In IWD (one or two, can't remember which I played) I had a drow character I created from scratch but that's because it was an option :)

The items could be imported into the multiplayer game using the console or shadowkeeper. I'm not sure about sprites though; they only add atmosphere anyways.

But have their nice equipment too early in the game might make the game too easy.

Well this is obviously something I'm wanting to do after I've already been through the game once. I used my BG1 character when I started out and it made the game a little easy I think, but it was really fun at least :D

I started out doing the Drizzt party once but it got really hard to follow up on any of the NPC quests with Wulfgar, Drizzt, Bruenor and my Main character to look after, not to mention my other MP characters from BG1 (I played it on MP so I could have 2 characters to start out with, one being Dak'kon Zerth hehe). However, I ended up not taking everyone, or Irenicus killed Wulfgar or something. Anyway the point was that I would only do it if I was going to pretty much ignore the other party members or only have one at a time join me.
